Mr. Resham Gyamdan  was born in Nepal in 1972 and has been involved in the tourism industry since 1992. He is passionate about sharing his love of rafting, educating about the environment and  company, He is one  key person  White Water World. He is Nationally and Internationally certified as a guide, instructor  in safety and first aid.

He has a wealth of experience on the rivers of Nepal, India, and Hokkaido, Japan. He has led day trips as well as multi-day expeditions. He received his Junior River Guide Certification (1997) and Senior River Guide Certification (2001)Plus Swift Water rescue Technician international 1 ,White Water Rescue   Technician 1,Hokkaido Outdoor Standard Senior certificate, Red cross First Aid Of Japan. He  has worked for the following companies: Amadablam Adventure Group, Himalayan Wonders, Ker and Downey Nepal (an American/Nepalese Joint venture company), Rapid Adventures Nepal, Shai River Rafting, Ultimate Descents Nepal, and International and Himalayan Encounters Etc  at present Scott adventure Sports.

In 2003, Resham began White Water World, a company he has dedicated to sharing his passion for rafting and kayaking in Nepal. White Water World has employed International Standard Senior River Guides and safety kayak instructors who are well trained in first aid, river rescue and organizing the kayak training class. White Water World is proud to provide the best service possible and boasts a 100% safety rate on all of its river trips within Nepal. Andrew Thurgate [Furgie] is the founder of MAD & UP 4 IT. After serving in the British Army for 12 years, he has decided to give it all and follow his heart into the outdoors. Andrew's real passion is for the water and has been canoeing and kayaking for the last 8 years, working and running expeditions worldwide in Nepal, Canada and mainland Europe.

Andrew is looking forward to offering others the chance and experiences of a lifetime through MAD & UP 4 IT.

Ben Bryant is one of our selected freelance instructors who we regularly use due to his overall passion for the outdoors, this started at an early age with his first experience of surfing at Brighton Beach at the age of 11.

Like most of our instructors employed by MAD & UP 4 IT, Ben’s main passion for the outdoors is with kayaking which has taken him all over the world often leading expeditions. He has now moved on to the crags and mountain bike trails. When he has any free time he can often be seen guiding rafts around the UK.

Mark Stafford started kayaking at the tender age of 7 whilst a member of the Sea Cadets. He was introduced to the slalom scene and started racing in the national circuit where he gradually gained promotion to Division 1 and a place on the Scottish Slalom Team.

Mark is now keen to perfect his freestyle techniques and often competes in the Peak Freestyle competitions around the country. When there is a lack of water he has spare time to develop and coach youngsters into the world of kayaking. Like all our instructors here at MAD & UP 4 IT Mark also manages to find the time to head to the hills and hang off a crag.
